English Rose Animal Sanctuary

Our Sanctuary
Since 2025
English Rose Animal Sanctuary’s mission is to restore health, hope, and harmony to help rescue animals in need through loving care, comfort, and compassion and to provide a safe haven for them. The 17- acre farm is located in Bucks County, PA and is home to over 40 rescued animals including horses, donkeys, goats, ducks, peacocks, cats, and dogs. Our animals were rescued for many reasons such as abandonment, neglect, owner allergies, financial burdens, or unforeseen circumstances. We provide all the love and care these animals need whether this is their temporary home until they are adopted or this is their forever home. We hope this farm will not only bring peace and care to rescued animals but we also hope to share our farm’s mission of animal service with others who want to learn and find their own peace and serenity with these beautiful, wonderful animals.

From the
Founder
Dr. Jessica Wilbourne
"Since I was a young girl, I knew I wanted to be a veterinarian because I wanted to protect and care for animals. I dreamed of having a farm where animals could live peacefully and feel safe. From a very young age I felt drawn to protecting the vulnerable. I grew up with an older sister with Down’s Syndrome and she instilled in me the virtues of compassion, fairness, and the need to protect those that can’t protect themselves. She is my greatest teacher and gives me inspiration to fulfill the big goals we have for English Rose Animal Sanctuary."
